We are proud to announce that we have received the 2021-2022 Outstanding Student Chapter Award from the SHRM (for the fourth time).
TechSHRM, being part of the international human resources association SHRM (300,000+ members), is committed to providing our members with professional and leadership development opportunities to prepare them for future careers. Most TechSHRM members are students in the Department of Technology Management and Innovation, which offers a concentration in People Analytics in the Management of Technology MS degree program.
To deal with rapid change, organizations rely on data insights for active decision-making in talent management, assessing skill gaps, and performance management. People analytics (also known as human capital analytics) is the practice of collecting and transforming HR and organizational data into actionable insights for business improvement.
Being a TechSHRM member provides opportunities for networking, mentoring, and other activities that lead to career success. Sreenidhi Rabindranath, Xuan (Ferdi) Chen, Catalina M Jaramillo, Sneha Ghiya, and Nitin Ramaseshan are notable TechSHRM club alumni whose experience on the Eboard benefited them directly in securing lucrative jobs in the field, including consulting.
