Turn the metronome off.
Set the length of section A to automatic.
Record. Tap stop when you're finished.
Play and listen. Undo and re-record if needed.
Switch to track view to edit and add music.

Split your voice track. Leave gaps for music and delete unwanted sections.
Add music in one of 3 ways:
Drag tracks from the loop browser.
Record Live Loops along with your voice track.
Record Instruments along with your voice track.
Adjust volume of individual tracks.
Add automation (a volume line you can adjust).
