I am a Professor of Astronomy and Dean's Research Fellow at the University of Virginia. I work in the areas of Galactic structure and dynamics, and near-field cosmology. Please visit my Group Webpage for more details. Here is my CV.
I was previously a Pappalardo Fellow in Physics at MIT, and a YCAA Prize Fellow at the Yale Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics. I received my Ph.D in Astrophysics at Harvard University. I went to Mount Holyoke for undergrad where I got a BA in Physics.
