Dr. Kadioglu's academic journey in economics is truly remarkable. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Bilkent University, securing a full scholarship by achieving a remarkable ranking within the top 200 out of a million candidates in the university's entrance examination. His dedication and academic excellence culminated in his graduation from Bilkent University in 1997, where he received an honors degree.

Building on this solid foundation, Dr. Kadioglu went on to earn two Master of Science degrees. His first MSc was in economics, which he completed at Hacettepe University, and his second MSc was in Banking and Finance, a program he undertook at the esteemed Business School of the University of Leeds. His pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there. In 2014, he earned his doctorate degree in Accounting and Finance from Baskent University, a significant achievement in his academic journey.

In recognition of his academic and research contributions, Dr. Kadioglu was honored with the title of Associate Professor of Finance by the Turkish Higher Education Council in 2017. His passion for research led him to Ghent University, where he worked as a postdoc researcher from September 2019 to June 2020, thanks to the prestigious postdoc grant he received from TUBITAK.

Throughout his career, Associate Professor Kadioglu has been a dedicated educator, teaching a range of courses including "investment analysis and portfolio management," "financial markets," "financial management," and "monetary economics" at various universities in Turkey. His expertise and insights have also contributed significantly to the fields of finance, financial markets, corporate governance, and corporate finance, all under the affiliations of Ghent University and the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.

Dr. Kadioglu's professional journey began in 1998 when he embarked on a career in finance by enrolling in the Banking School of Ziraat Bank. Subsequently, he worked as a financial analyst in the Head of Treasury Department of Ziraat Bank Co. His career took a regulatory turn as he assumed roles as an Assistant Auditor, Auditor, and Senior Auditor at the Capital Markets Board of Turkey between 2001 and 2017.

Since the beginning of 2017, Dr. Kadioglu has been contributing his financial expertise to the Investor Compensation Center of Turkey. His impressive qualifications include holding the Turkish CFA Level III, Certified Public Accountant, and Independent Audit certifications, solidifying his reputation as an expert in the field of finance and economics in Turkey.
